Meet The Staff of Oculoplastic Consultants of Central PA, P.C.
John J. Schietroma, MD., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Schietroma is a native of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor's degree in 1977 from Grove City College and his M.D. from Penn State University in 1981. He completed his internship at Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and fulfilled his residency in Ophthalmology at Penn State University.
Dr. Schietroma completed his fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He is a board certified member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has practiced in central Pennsylvania since 1986.
Dr. Schietroma has published articles and written chapters on Oculoplastic topics.
Dr. Schietroma and his wife Cindy have two daughters.
